Soil & Climate Requirements
Wheat grows best in well-drained loamy soil with a pH of 6.0 to 7.5. It requires cool temperatures during its growth period (15–20°C) and moderate rainfall of 30–90 cm.

October to December for Rabi season; some regions may also sow in late September.

Fertilizer & Nutrient Management

Harvesting & Yield
Harvest when grains are golden brown and moisture content is around 12–14%. Average yield: 3–4 tons per hectare.
