What is PM-KISAN?
Launched in 2019, the PM-KISAN scheme is a revolutionary direct benefit transfer (DBT) program. It aims to augment the financial needs of the Small and Marginal Farmers (SMFs) in procuring various inputs to ensure proper crop health and appropriate yields.
The funds are transferred directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries, removing intermediaries and ensuring 100% transparency.
